Lets say I trade a Scyther holding a Metal Coat to Emerald, when it evolves, will I have only Scizor on my Pokédex or Scyther and Scizor?

both scyther and scizor. i know, because i've done the same with kadabra before.

You will have both in pokedex, but not both in your party.

PS: The pokemon you've seen before can't be removed from pokedex.[this isn't for BF].
