Hey,

I've searched my behind off, but couldn't find anything.
Is there a way to take a look at the game's code? I'd like to dive into it and find out how certain things work..

You could get a game shark, that works with codes. Just type in Gameshark Codes to find out more.

I think you are talking about a different kind of code..
Game Sharks modifies the memory (IIRC), not the code of the game.

I want to view the source code of the game. Appearantly some people have been able to get it, since they claim mew is not under/behind the truck because it isn't in the code. I don't know anything about Mew, and that's not the thing I want to know, I'm trying to find out some other stuff..

You will be missed:(
I don't think so. That's something Nintendo would want to keep under wraps

That's what I thought, but after hearing multiple people saying that, I thought there was hope.. guess not.

There are ways to decompile the games... people have done it... but you have to have the right equipment and the right "computer hacker knowledge" LOL
If you don't already know how to do it... don't try it.

Gameshark and action replay are not allowed to be discussed in serebii forums at ALL.

I know that.
And by the way if you still want to know hoe then ask Kamikazi games since he always does that to the games.
He informed me about some of his results about in Ru/Sa/E.

people, you just need an emulator for a computer and a ROM of the game... You can see the coding AND play the game on your compy.
But a lot of ROMs are illegally pirated, so make sure you get the one that you need the game to buy.

Of course you're never going to see the source code (if only... ^o^), but if you can find a ROM image (which I'm not going to support you on), you can take a look at the assembly programming. Of course, knowing MIPS assembly would help.

You can generally figure out a good deal about a program by taking a look/altering its memory map while it's running (in an emulator). I'm too lazy to go figure out which emulators let you do this.
