Does nintendo know how many generations there will be. Are all of the generations all ready made but in secret. If they are that means that someone knows what the 5th 6th 7th so on generations are.

I don't think anyone really knows how many generations there'll be. Which is a good thing, since how do you think the fandom would react if Nintendo announced that there's only going to be, say, six generations?

Hopefully Pokemon will last as long as Mario has, but there's only so much they can do at this rate. THey'll need to make more changed between each generation.

Well you dont know that there is going to be 3 more generations. Consider this, Pokemon are animals in the world of Pokemon. In real life, think of how many animals there are! But you also got to consider how much land to travel.

Hopefully it should last. Although it will get to a point when the pokedex becomes hell to complete but WHO cares. Though eventually it might (MIGHT) be forgotton or run out of ideas, a lot of things come back up a couple of decades later. Personly, who ever declares that pokemon will end, better be prepare to be murdered > & will go to hell.

As long as Pokemon makes money, the whole frachise will keep going. Of course, in order to keep thier fans satisfied, they'd have to make more games, which makes more money, which keeps the thing going. It's all just one big circle. So it'll be here for a while ^_^

I'd be more than happy to see over 1000 Pokemon. One reason I still love Digimon is because there's over 1000 different types. The more variety, the better.
