Hello

Sunbright07

SCIENTIST
Hey, I've been looking to find a couple of sample teams around here for playing through the game, but then I figured I'd just ask some advice and see what the professionals think.

Infernape(Especially as soon as I can find Brick Break TM) I love this monkey, but his moveset as far as fight attacks kinda stinks.

Emolga/Raichu/Zebstrike (Or really any other electric or Grass type, Something to fight watertype and maybe flying as well)

Krookadile- Makesure it has something like a Crunch/Earthquake/Rocktype/Fighttype moveset

And then 3 out of these:

Butterfree- but no Idea about movesets

Empoleon, but I'm not really sure how many times steel or water moves will be useful.

Musharna- If I don't have some powerful flyers, I'll need me some psychic moves for fight-types

Cinccino with technician- Should put out some nice moves-

Maybe a baltoy or a gyarados?

Any suggestions/help?

I would like to have False swipe avaliable.

Oh, I'm kinda having a difficult time narrowing down which pokemon to choose, much less what moves they'll have...But let's see...

Infernape: Blast Burn/Giga Impack/Brick Break/...Acrobatics?

Emolga: Discharge/Aerial Ace/Acrobatics/Thunder

Raichu: Thunderbolt/Giga Impact/Thief/Brick Break

Zebstrika: Thunderbolt/Flame Charge/Giga Impact

Krookodile:Crunch/Earthquake/Outrage/(Smack Down or Brick Break)

Butterfree:Bug Buzz/Acrobatics/Shadow Ball/Psychic

Empoleon: Drill Peck/Metal Claw/Brine/Hydro Pump

Musharna: Dream Eater/Hypnosis/Energy Ball/Shadow Ball

Cinccino with technician- Tail Slap/Bullet Seed/Rock Blast/Wake-up Slap

Claydol: Earth Power/Extrasensory/Ice Beam/Solarbeam

Gyarados:Aqua Tail/Ice Fang/Thunderbolt/Hyper Beam

Machamp: Dynamic Punch/Low Sweep/ Strength/Bulldoze

Haxorus: Outrage/ Dragon Claw/ Aerial Ace/ Brick Break

Is that a little better?

don't forget close combat, earthquake, grass knot, thunderpunch, flamethrower, and my favorite, overheat it is 140 damage 90 accuracy and lowers sp. attack. that doesn't bother infernape too much

~Close Combat
~Stone-Edge/Rock Slide
~Fire Punch/Flare Blitz
~Thunder Punch
Your Infernape...it's horrible, IMHO! Acrobatics? For what reason? What's he doing? There isn't any reason to use that move on such poke! Giga Impact? Blast Burn? Hahah, no...just, no! Luckily, I can help, and you WILL and SHOULD hear me!
Infernape is a very know Sweeper, both his Physical and Special Attack is great enough to deal HUGE damage. He's speed is also useable,.meaning he can outspeed most of Pokes In-Game.
Anyway, Close Combat is your main STAB, you probably will use it a lot. The ability to KO everything that doesn't resist this move is kinda appealing, few things survive a STABed CC.
Stone-Edge deal with those pesky Flying Types that resist your STABs, most notably one are Volcarona, that resist both Infernape STABs. Stone-Edge will deal with him easily enough, and defeating other Flying Types with easy. But, you can also run Rock Slide>>>Stone Edge, because of hax.
Fire Punch is your secondary STAB, it isn't powerful as Flare Blitz, but its safer. It's Base Power isn't that low, he will do very well against most of the enemies. Your Fire STAB will help against those Steel Types, and c'mon, they're a pain in the as*. But, yeah...Fighting+Fire does share coverage, but they together defeat most things. Specially when packed with a Rock Move ^^
Thunder Punch will deal with Water Types, giving a pretty good coverage In-Game. Hitting most things ^^
Jolly Nature will boost Infernape already decent Speed.

Nature: Jolly
~Dragon Claw
~Earthquake
~Rock Slide
~Dragon Dance
Okay, why Brick Break and Aerial Ace? Noooooo...again, nooo! :D
Two STAB too are completely useless, they aren't doing anything, except limiting your coverage.
Anyway, moveset is Standard and easy to understand :D
Dragon Claw is your main STAB, why it's better than 'Outrage' or 'Dual Chop'? It's simple. 1°; Outrage completely locks you, it's like using a Choice Band. Outrage isn't a bad move, tough, it can be used in conjunction with Lum Berry, to cure your Confusion after OR usage. But, in-game, it isn't useful. Better sticking with Dragon Claw that have a nice Base Power ^^
2°; Dual-Chop have poor accuracy, but it packs a good BP tough. The option of breaking sashs is appealing, but...that's a in-game team. Again, better sticking with something more reliable ^^
Earthquake will defeat those pesky Steel Types that wall Haxorus badly. Dragon+Ground give you a near perfect coverage, you willonly get walled by a Skarmory...and c'mon, he doesn't appear In-game as far as i know :D
Rock Slide is for? Aham, hitting Skarmory. Now you have perfectly neutral coverage.
Dragon Dance will help Haxorus a lot, allowing him to outspeed most things after 2/3 DDs. Not to mention he will become your 'Front Soldier' after you set-up with him :D
Well, that's all i can help. I can surely help the other pokes movesets, but i will rate them later. Hope this helps, good luck ^^
