Just pointing this out but you can find all the fossils in Cerulean Cave, heck I think their is even YouTube videos on it. Oh and just to make this clear but when I say fossils I mean the fossils to revive the Pokémon and not the actual Pokémon themselves.

Although depending on your luck it might take a bit to find the Dome Fossil.
