Quick question about Pearl and Diamond; do the Pokemon sprites move? I am a big fan of moving sprites, ever since Crystal introduced it(why did they wait until Emerald to bring it back though?!?), and I just wanted to know if they did.

Pippi! Pi!
To be more specific, each sprite has two separate frames of motion. The game uses both of those frames and further adds to it by moving them around and stretching them in different ways. If any of you have used Flash before, it's kind of like what you do when you tween a symbol. :p You can set up a symbol of the basic animation of the two original frames, and then you stretch and move them around the stage in a logical (or illogical, in some cases, lol) manner. :) That's pretty much what the designers did.
