it's not the one with the phanpy and herracross. it's the one with only new pokemon (except in the water). you have an upper part with some pokemon and a lower part with other pokemon. check on the main site in wich part pineco is

the main site only says extension im really confused

when you enter the safarizone go up and as soon as you can, go right. then you've entered the extension. if you go up you encounter part one if you go down you encounter part 2. i don't in wich part pineco is. but it isn't that rare so try in both areas and you'll encounter it.

Pineco is in Part 1 of the extension, which is north of the lake. If you go up when you come to out of the safari zone and then turn right at the bit before the acro bike part. Then follow that and you keep going north, it's know as Section 6, and it's in the grass near the rocks where you find Shuckle. If you come across a lot of Teddiursa and Aipom, and not a gazillion Sunkern's - you're in section 6. There uncommon so they're not that hard to find, if you stumble across Houndour then you're in the right part. If you come across Gligar or Stantler, you need to go further north.

Out of them two, careful, since you won't need special attack and special defence will be risen. No need for naive, it won't outspeed anything so why bother. It's there to take hits.

If anything, get a defence raising one like Impish (-Sp. Att) or try Relaxed (-Spd) perhaps

They are all in Section 5, if you're finding them you need to go north until the Safari Zone sign appears in the corner - then you are in Section 6.

They are in section 6 which where you want to be. Using that should help you figure out where you are

I will I also say that by surfing on the lake in section 5, you may catch Woopers or if your lucky, Quagsire. Using a good rod or super rod will get you a remoraid and a super rod will get you an octillery

Ok so there are 2 guys blocking a way to the new part.You beat the pokemon league and you can go through.Well the place is above the entrance.Just go above the entrance untell you see a new opening.I didn't know about that because I never went in unlet professer Birtch told me there where some that I need to get in there.I forgot but I hope this post helps.

I want Houndour sooooooooooooooooo bad! They were one of my favorite pokemon from G/S/C. Now I know where to look, too! ^^

'Doom's my favorite too. But if you have access to a Cube, you can Snag a Shadow Houndoom near the end of Colosseum, and a Shadow Houndour near the BEGINNING of XD. Part of my permanent team in XD.
