Question

Recently, my cousin started a new game on my Sapphire. She was just about to save and asked me whether she was allowed, I said no and she switched off the power.
When I turned it on again, my game was still there but before it came up a message on the screen said,
"The game is corrupt. Previous save file will be loaded."
What is it? Why is it there.
NO, I do not used cheating devices.
NO, I have never linked up with someone who has.
NO, my game has not been dropped or immersed in water.

when the game is turned off in the middle of saving, the "new" save file is considered "corrupt", to keep people from taking advantage of the order in which it's saved, like they did in G/S/C with the duplication glitch. it keeps a copy of your previous save until the new one is fully saved anyway, so it just loads that if the new one isn't completed.

Basically it prevents you from cheating and simply loads from when you last saved. Don't worry it won't delete your game.

that has happened to me one time on my older emerald games, except instead of being ok, it completely erased my old save, i was very sad, :|
