How long should I wait before I turn off my ds in the GTS glitch, I did all the other steps

it depends, the best techinique is to upload a pokemon onto the GTS, and count in seconds how long it takes, then do the upload again and turn it off about half a second before you reach your target number

first put a pokemon u dont care about
look at the weel coun the turns of the weel tell it stops
and when u want to clone shut the ds off the same time or slightly before it
