Quick EV question

The answer to this is probably in the faq section but i cant get into it, it just wont load it hangs and then says page cannot be found so i thought i would quickly ask here.

I've finally been able to breed a modest pichu with volt tackle, and plan on EV training it in speed and sp atk, this will be my first every time EV training any pokemon, what i want at the end is a level 100 pikachu with lightball(which i have) with maxed sp atk and speed in the EV's, i dont care about the remaining evs.

Ok now that my situation is explain this is what i want to know, if i begin ev training my pichu now in sp atk using exp share, when i evolve my pichu to a pikachu will all the ev training i have been doing on pichu not be taken into account after its evolved?

Yeah i plan on using the macho brace when pichu can take things on on his own, i just dont want to spend the time EV training my pichu and then when it evolves all the values and ev's get reset and stuff

the EVs stay when it evolves. don't worry.

If the EVs don't stay when a pokemon evolves (they do stay) it woud be even better because you would have extra stats and you could start EV training agein to get even more stats.

Ok now im just confused with everything again, i thought everything was going ok i was using exp share on my pichu and fighting spinda and slugma only, i worked it out my keeping track on how many ev points i was getting and i should have 150 in special attack right now, so then i go and buy some calcium to raise it and it says it wont have any effect, in the ev guide on the site i read it only says that if ev's are maxed or if you have already gave it 10 vitamins, but ive not gave it 10 vitamins and i worked it out that i should only be on 150.

Anyone know why i cant use the vitamins?

Try leveling up the Pichu 1 more level then using the vitamins again.

EDIT: Never EV trained either, just a suggestion

it won't work. you can't use vitamins on a pokemon if they already have 100 or more EVs in that stat. yours has 150, so it's beyond vitamin range.

in future, if you want to use vitamins, do so before starting EV training against wild pokemon.
