Haven't been here for a while.

Just got to another "spriting frenzy" shall we say, so I started scouring the net for sprite stuff. I came upon some nice TCG sprites from a GBC game I think (never played the thing).
They were so pretty in even their un-revamped form that I wondered what they'd look like when one would start tweaking them and stuff.

So I did some tweaking. It took longer than I expected so I only managed one.

Will probably do more tomorrow. Comments please. Critics welcome.

The shading on the tail is fantasatic, but zoomed in theres random blue dots allover the body. The head feathers are too long, but the shading is very good on them. The shading on the right wing is wrong, as the light source comes from the OTHER way. As with the shading on the left wing there's exaclty the same problem.

I like the fiery background on flareon but I hope I didn't overdid.

I finished the fearow alot faster than the other two. But I personally don't like its background. And I think its the worst among em'. But that's me.

Hmm...I now what you mean about the wings. But I just based it o the riginal tcg sprite itself which is shaded in that bizzare way. I edited the head feathers from the original sprite. I did try to make it smaller but I guess I didnt make it tiny enough. ^^' Thanks for taking the time for analyzing my sprite, now I know what to improve on.*gets to work*

LOVE the flame backround, incredibly well done. Fearow is awesome as well, but I seriously don't remember that Fearow Card Art AT ALL 0_0

Yes, now we can make these a huge fad! I like how you leave the background in, though.

The outlining on the Articunos wings look too dark and a bit shakey. The Fearow looks alright but dosent have as nice of shading and outlines as the others. The Flareons great, I love the background, but its eye seems rather large and the shading a bit off, in my opinion.

They are really well done, especially the backgrounds. The Flareon must have been hard to make.

I can't find any flaws at all. Very nice work!

I personally love the background on this one. You feel the cool ocean-y feel yes? I didn't use the original sprite colors on horsea here though. I tried them at first but they were too light and horsea just seemed to...."seperate" from the bg. So I settled with darker shades.

....hmm...I couldn't help but feel something's wrong with horsea. He looks so plain compared to the background. I must've overdid the bg again ^^'
