Time?

Hello,

A quick and noobish question regarding Emerald:

How does the time/clock works?

Also, for some odd reason, the time in my Emerald (US) for GBA SP does not work properly - the clock up in my room is stuck at the time I set him when starting off the game. (and I've already passed the Elite 4)

Please, all you experienced players, help me by answering my question and problem.

Thanks in advance,
Porkel

Did your internal battery dry out? That controls the time.

Well, now that you mention battery... something weird happened about two weeks ago: I was training my pokemon while suddenly the game shut down due to lack of battery charge and the whole save has been erased. Bummer.

Do you think this is the cause to my problem?

Was your game a fake? If it was real, it should have a backup save for whenever you shut if off like that.....

The only battery in the game is the one that controls the clock--your game should not just shut down like that. This sounds like you might have gotten a fake game. Is the color of the game grey or black? If so, it's a fake.

I don't think that my game is a fake. I bought it at the original price from a trusted gaming store in my area.
Its box's color is green, however it is shiny... Is it supposed to be like that?

Oh and I meant that my Gameboy SP ran out of power, not that its battery ran out. I'm too used to the Gameboy Color :p

The game cartidge, is it black or grey?

Real game cartidges are emerald-green.

The cartidge is black, and has a green picture with "Pokemon Emerald Version" on it.

Were u in the middle of saving when it turned off?
Nope. As I said, it shut down while I was training (in a battle).

Fake! Sorry. Real cartidges don't have a picture of Rayquaza on then, and are emerald-green color.

Sorry, I was mistaken and changed that part with Rayquaza on it :p

Regardless, the cartidge being being black means that it's a fake?

No, it was all new.

But oh well, a scum has scammed me...

Is there anyway to fix the clock?

If not, thank you all anyways for the swift responses, they are highly appreciated.
