I have this lv. 70 Venusaur but I really don't know which moves to teach it. I still need to use it for the pokemon league. And BTW, it has incredible speed for a Venusaur, 177 at the moment.

leech seed is pretty pointless without sub, and once you sub you can solarbeam at will, AND leech seed.

Dont suggest a moveset if you have no idea how to use the pokemon.

I would raise a new Venusaur if you want to use it for the BF.

It's a poor man's version on my Meganium set. It can't get Reflect in the 3rd Generation (While it could in the 1st and 2nd) BUT it gets Sleep Powder, which is esentually better than Grasswhistle

go with firehead hank's, i use the same thing. sleep powder, seed, SB to death, using synthesis when necessary.

i like careful/Sludge bomb instead of calm/razor leaf because it gives you a way to do major damage to grass-types, who are immune to leech seed. also, sludge bomb has almost twice the base power, so it does more damage even through it's working off the smaller stat.

well, what FireHead Hank said is true. People who don't know what they are talking about shouldn't post. In this case, you clearly showed no knowledge of Venusaur, so his comment is quite fair.

Posting to say that, compared to the influx of nubes CRMT and IGRMT has seen recently, nightcat is probably one of the more respectable raters. He's not always right, but he's right more often than he's wrong, and that's worth something in this grim time.

Still, go with Firehead Hank's, Dunsparce's, or Fighting_Master's. They're pretty much the only usable ones posted in this Thread =/
