Bionic Charizard

This was so much fun to draw. ^^

I've been really inspired by the Pokemon TCG sets Delta Species and Holon Phantoms because, as some fellow card-battlers have put it, they feature "seriously whacked-out Pokemon." Fire-type Mewtwo, Lightning-type Latios, Grass-type Flygon...ect. I decided to draw a Delta Charizard, only insted of having him look normal (which the card illustrations do) I decided to change his appearance.

He's an Electric/Steel type, only I explored the Steel possibilities and made him bionic. All Delta Pokemon are made the way they are though science (they aren't just born that way) so I figured that he could have computerized parts made out of the organic metal compound that Steel Pokemon's skin is made of.

The claws on the right arm can retract and turn into an energy cannon, and he has enhanced vision and hearing. And if any of the metal parts are damaged, they're automatically programmed to reform because of a chip in his brain (which means to keep him from healing himself, you'd pretty much have to kill him.) The wiring on his wings also allow him to focus his energy into shields like Reflect and Light Screen. He can still breathe fire, but he's not a Fire type, and in fact, the flame on his tail is not fire, but rather pure energy (and is therefore white.)

I'm not taking requests for other Delta Pokemon. And no, I am not going to color this pic. =P

The hands seem a bit disporportional (Word?) And he looks rather thin for a Charizard but otherwise its nice. Great concept and love the tail.

I belive that Charizard is half organic and half mechanic. So...

I've always had a thing about mechanical stuff. This one could have more detail; wires and stuff, but it's still great. Great, no doubt.

Actually, I think there's gonna be an Electric/Steel Charizard in the next Delta Pokemon set. Sure, he won't be half-robotic, but still... xD

When I did my first mechanical stuffies, they suck'd *** xD omg, they were so horrible...
But it's just about practise and developing your skills

Well, there actually is a Delta Meowth card, but it's Dark/Steel.

His left, or our left? I'm guessing you mean our left, how the neck line goes over where the shoulder line should continue?

Not bad, for some reason it reminds me of Mecha-King Ghidora (mispelled I know) minus the two extra heads of course.

If you have Photoshop and a scanner please do color it, it would look even better.
