Customizing your character

wouldn't it be cool if you can be able to customize your character in the Battle Revolution to make it look like you? Do you think it's possible that they'll do that, or is Nintendo just too lazy?

I seriously doubt that they're going to add the character customizer in this game. Would be cool if that character looks alot like me.

Oh well character customization is a complete waste of time, and on most players limited time frame, it would just get in the way, I know from experince

The problem is that with customization, you are meant to make a character who looks like you, while most people make a macho version of themselves (or sexy for girls XD). As for me, i would look something like this:

Me id make mine look like me, tall,blond,greenish hazel eyes,and casper white. And an all blue outfir with an espeon on the shirt YEAH!!oh and maybe id spike my hair like i sometimes do and dye it neon blue,kewl,hahahaha.tubular dude,lol

I think that'd be really cool if you can actually look like who you want to look like and not have to choose between the trainers that are already premade for you. I doubt that it would happen.. but who knows?

If any of you saw the Nintendo E3 press conference, they had a custom-character feature in the new Wii tennis game, and said that many other Wii games would feature character customization by putting a picture of your face as a texture on the character model. Don't know if that will be used here, but it does support the theory. The faces looked quite good with Miyamoto and Iwata when they used it.

I think it's more of a possibility, since it's easier to customize 3D models than 2D sprites, but I don't think it will happen. It's not so much that Nintendo is lazy, it's just not a big concern. Pokemon doesn't place a lot of emphasis on human characters.

I was just happy to see the FR/LG characters in the video. Hopefully they'll include everyone.

human characters may not get much attention in the game but cuztamization sure wouldn't hurt the games. since pokemon is going to be battleing online. how long till in becomes like a union room type setting for trainers to meet in. with 10+ of the same guy walking around it could get annoying and difficult to tell who's who. choosing your own looks may be small and unimportant thing. but it would help LOADS there, plus it's just Freakin Cool

Another thing to say meh to. As long as the base character isn't ugly like the D/P boy, i'm fine. So I say, "Be lazy nintendo! Forget about custom characters!"

I agree with pharaoh. The D/P (male)character looks pretty good with the hat but I can tell they could of done better. Though the hat does make him look like a young army marshal.

i don't really mind it but it would be cool ive you could chance hair style and ur clothes that would make everyone different

it would be a good idea, especially if it works with wifi connection to help provide more unique trainer images!
