ev problem

my bagon didnt get the attck evs maxed out. it only has 150 evs for its attack, and it wont let me boost it anymore. i have done this by battling carvanahs, and i havent been able to use one protein on it. my bagon is lv. 25 and its attack is 60, and its adamant nature. i really need to have its attacked maxed out, and it hasnt battled anything other than those carvanahs, so i dont know what may be wrong. is this a glitch or is this how its sopposed to be?? thank u in adavance.

You can only use 10 Vitamins per stat on a pokemon, but if the pokemon already has 100 EVs in that stat, it can't be boosted by Vitamins anymore.

I know you are new but please...look in the R/S/E Faq before making Threads that ask questions about Ev's.

I read the Ev guide lots of times but i posted this because i have questions that were unclear from that. on the guide it says that 100 points of EVs can be given to a pokemon by vitamins, but if i havent maxed out its EVs yet, and i havent used proteins on it.is my gaqme corrupted or something?

It´s like that, if you battled 10 carvanhas holding machobrace you´ll be able to give for it more 8 proteins, because the one hundred is already completed. now all you have to do is wait battling carvanhas (or poochyenas, or shuppets) a lot! IH.IH. (I Hope I Helped).
