Tere is no 'Gensing', but there is a Ginseng. I don't know what Gensing does, but Ginseng permanently raises a move's power by one.

I think it was either a typo or he didn't know how to spell it.

I just tried one out and they're great. I think it permanently raises it one stage so if you use one the moves power is 1.5x and if you use 2 the moves power is 2x.

Bluedude8 are you sure that it can raise your regular attacks because i tried having no set move and using it and it said it had no effect. ;123;

after you beat a dojo and try it again, you can get ginsengs, plus sometime when you digest a ginseng you can get a boost by having +3 on a move instead of +1

a ginseng permanently raises a move i dont know how but it is bettered. i have a feraligatr with +4 on bite. at the most you can only have +4 because there are only 4 dungeons that give them out at the end.

Ginseng does permenantly raise the power of your set move. You can change the set move to another one, and raise its power. My Sceptile, has Bullet Seed+3, Giga Drain+1, Brick Break+1 & Wide Slash+1. In my previous game, I used the Wondermail code generator, and got a lot of ginsengs. That time I had a Sceptile with a Bullet Seed+22!! The only reason I restarted was becasue it was really like using an extremely uber Pokémon. It was just too easy so I kind of got bored. Anyway, I think, if you have enough Ginseng, you can even have an attack+99. There seems to be no limit.

Does Ginseng stay on the attack, even in level 1 dungeons?

In Lv.1 Dungeons, its a complete reset of the Pokémon. Ginseng effects are removed, additional stats gained through gummies are removed, your IQ comes back to the begining,etc. Everything of the selected Pokémon resets, back into the form when you first time recruited it. After you back out of the dungeon, your Pokémon returns back to the form you where just before entering the dungeon.
