Ack! Help?

Okay.. in emerald (hear me out) there's this guy, where if you give him a heart scale, he'll teach your pokemon any move that the pokemon can learn... Which is handy for teaching pokemon like Latias Wish, which it would normally learn at level (just guessing here) 14, even though you catch it at level 45.

Now, here's my question -

In firered/leafgreen... is there a guy that does the same thing? I've found various move tutors, and the move deleter... but what about this move... guy (can't remember what he's called)... Is there one in this game? If so, where is he? ...

Island 2. Next to that house with Lostelle's parents (the mini-game place). You'd need either a big mushroom or 2 tinymushrooms (obtained from Paras/Parasect) for him to relearn a move.

in emrald/ruby/sapphire you need a heart scale, in FR/LG you need a mushrooms(2 tiny or 1 big mushroom). In emerald that is in fallarborg town, in FR/LG that is on island 2

you will need more than just lv 50 and a pkmn with thief or trick

I suggest 6 lvl 60 pkmn if you beat them the 1st time. And 6 lvl 70 pkmn if you beat them the 2nd time and after that.

It is good for teaching charizard heat wave if you didn't teach it to him. and I think it also works for r/s/e pokemon like gardavoir that can get magical leaf in fr/lg but not r/s/e
btw why does a guy want inedible mushrooms found on pokemons back? DOES HE USE THEM TO MAKE SHROOMS :p (ilegal drug for those who haven't heard of it)

The Pokemon they have are at least up to the 60's, I think. Eh, you'd need at least lv 50 or higher Pokemon. I beat them with all lv 50's, though, no prob.

Heat wave's basically the same as Flamethrower.

I've kinda been wondering what he does with the mushrooms, now that you mention it.

One more question:

In LeafGreen, the guide (serebii) says that I get the TM Hidden Power by using the ability pickup - but it doesn't tell me what level I need my pokemon to get it! Is it totally random, or is it like in Emerald, where each level of your "pickup pokemon" gives you different items?

From the main site, it's a 5% chance of getting the TM at any level.

But unless you know a lot about IVs and breed for perfect ones, that move won't be of much use.

:) I loooove breeding... breeding and growing berries are my two favorite things to do - but I'm fairly new to "leafgreen" (obviously), and almost all of my gameplay (and breeding) is on Emerald.

Umm, so to answer your question, the move tutor is on 2 island as others have said, and you need to give him the mushrooms, which you can get by catching wild paras and parasect, and you can find them in various locations on the ground (just look in suspicious areas such as big patches of grass with one square missing, rocks that are sitting all by themselves, etc.)

After you get the 7th badge, Bill takes you to the first 3 Sevii Islands. On Two Island, there is a guy who will take 2 small mushrooms or 1 Big Mushroom (You can find these on Parasects/Paras) and he will teach your Pokemon any move it once knew.

He has a second question... the first is over.
