I often wondered what it would be like to live in the world of Pokemon. In fact, I used to ponder it a lot in my younger years, and I admittedly still do at times. I'm pretty sure most pokemon fans would like to actually experience for themselves what it's like to capture, train and care for their own favourite creatures outside of the games themselves.

As for myself, I think I'd actually own pokemon, but I don't know if I'd be a trainer, to be honest. I've always enjoyed pokemon more for the writing of fanfics and the such, but I believe if pokemon were real, I'd have a couple of my favourite monsters (growlithe for sure - I've always wondered how soft and warm they would be to hug) and I might just do something unrelated to battling at all, like being a guitar player or writer as I am now. I do know that if pokemon were real, I would definitely enjoy it immensely even if I wasn't necessarily a trainer.

Oh come on, what kind of question is this? Of course most of us would! It's the reason we all loved Pokemon to begin with. The whole idea of it is extremely cool. When I was a kid, I prayed every day that Pokemon could be real, and that I could go on a journey like Ash.
And the people who said they'd get homesick, no you wouldn't, because if the world was always "The Pokemon World", that would be your home. You wouldn't know anything else. Everyone you love would be part of that world too.
And it would NOT be hell for people who hate Pokemon; it would be their reality too. People who hate Pokemon would be the same people who hate animals in the real world. Who needs them anyway?

I understand that Pokemon are like powerful weapons which could destroy buildings, towns and cities within minutes but if they were real, I'm sure the world would have adjusted and precautions to stop things like this happening would be in place.

Therefore yes I would.

Of course. The only crime is stuff that could be taken care of by a 10 year old, and then we wouldn't have to pay as many taxes because prisons will be totally disused (drugs don't exist in the Pokemon world and all the bad guys end up running away saying "I promise to reform!). And then a police force would be almost obsolete.

To be more clichéd, MY OH SO VERY SPECIAL POKEMON WOULD EXIST!

Why not? would be a laugh. Technology seems to be better in that world than this one for sure...

For sure, I'd be like Red, defeat the Elite Four, become the Champion, and then leave the Pokemon League to stare at a mountain until someone challenges me.

YUP!
I'd def. try to get a Charizard and just fly on it most of the day and if I could, I'd get an Arcanine too and when I want to search for PoKeMon in the woods or w.e I'd ride on it. Of course, I'd also be like on of those people that research like the Legendary PoKeMon and would like to find them or see them.

Yeah, I think I'd want to live in the pokemon world. It'd certainly be more amusing than my current situation. And the only thing I'd have to do for money is beat the living daylights out of another guy's pokemon.

Hmm... Surprised there was not a single mention of the Roselia-Roserade relationship, or I have not read the posts carefully enough. Anyways I think Roselia was actually better in appearance than Roserade. Roserade kind-of reminds me of grandma crossed with a green Zoro.

Gen IV brought a whole bunch of evos whose lesser stages were of better design, imo. Magmortar, Licklicky, Rhyperior, Magnezone, Probopass . . . . I could go on.

Snover is absolutely adorable but then Abomasnow is just, eugh. I especially like his Platinum sprite, it really shows its goofy side off.

Shinx is the most adorable thing in town but those female Luxray with their tiny manes are hideous.
