Why can it hit more then twice? It's called Doubleslap.

Weird. But I guess it would be really weak and underused with only two hits, I mean, it's a SLAP. :/

Double-slap is an attack in which the user will slap the opponent twice each time. For example, Jynx using Double Slap will have her using Both hands. Skitty using Double Slap will have Skitty slapping once with it's tail, and then once when it brings its tail back across the opposite way. This action can be repeated for consecutive attacks ​

Scroll down a bit on that site, and you'll see that Doubleslap is a translation error. It's originally called "Oufuku Binta", which means "Round Trip Slap".

it's called "double" because the pokemon slaps with its two hands or atleast that's for me [not sure]

Sidereal and Metal power must be right because on the animations on the gameboy games, each slap consists of two moments of physical contact between the two Pokemon.

You could have been right. But I prefer the two times contact explanation which is why I did not comment on the translation error. Both theories fit though.
