I always used in the one-off running pokémon, like suicune or latias, now that I have all the legendaries (excluding mew, celebi and mewtwo) I´ll use my masterballs to catch shining pokés.

Using Masterballs prove you have no skill in catching Pokémons, now they display what ball you've caught the Pokémon with, so... I mainly use Pokéballs, second superballs.

Same here. And those Pokémon that can flee as soon as you see them, like the Legendary Dogs. Although I wasn't able to use one to capture Latias in Sapphire... Missed it in the Aqua Hideout. >_<

I use the Master Ball on legendarys mostly. I always use it before I can catch Latias though, I caught Ho-oh instead ^^;

On latios in Ruby, because it was flying around like a fool and I wasn't
able to catch it..
But I never used a Masterball since because I want em all in
ordinary Pokeballs. I have 9 Masterballs now, cause I always save them..
