I don’t mind the new Mega Lucario design (although the original Mega is now the best IMO), but it would’ve been fine with out the two thin strands going down the front and back of its head. Those look slapped on. Should have just had them coming off the back of its head like all the other Lucario varieties have.

Fair it wouldn't be my priority if I were choosing. Plus it shares the exact same typing as its current base form and Mega which means it doesn't cover something different like Mega Charizard X and Mewtwo X do. Though I suppose it is a Z-Mega (which seems to operate differently) and Lucario being effectively a mascot for Mega evolution it makes some degree of sense if anything were to get one of these special megas even if not my preference. Still at least its something for Korrina's return.

What is gamefreak thinking?! The true meaning of Legends Z-A is more Mega Charizard forms for the whole alphabet!! For marketing purposes, of course.
...All joking aside, the next "Z" Mega Evolution they should make in my opinion should either be Tyranitar, Audino, or Garchomp, I think that would be cool since the three of them would be cool to have a Z mega. Just my opinion though.

The old Mega Lucario is just called Mega Lucario, they didn’t change the name of the old Mega Lucario at all.

So basically Lucario has two Mega Evolutions now being:

I also don't understand why it's even needed. There are plenty of Pokémon that don't have ME, but instead of using them, they give ME to Pokémon that already have it.

Charizard and Mewtwo I could understand at the time, because Gen 1 was still fresh on everyone's minds. Raichu only got two megas because Pikachu can't have one; so Mega Raichu Y is pretty much Mega Pikachu.

These three pokemon are to be expected; that doesn't surprise me. However, Lucario just makes it painfully obvious that they're pandering. It really kills the vibe.

I don't mind if they do a Mega Charizard-Z but to be honest if they were to do it I would want Mega Charizard Z to also get a type change like Mega Charizard X. We already have a really good Fire/Flying Charizard and it's Gigantamax which is also Fire/Flying. I don't mind what type it would change to as long as it does something interesting. Dragon/Flying would finish off the set with the X and Y though they could go in a more wild direction and give it a completely unexpected type (imagine if it became an Fire/Ice type somehow). Though admittedly the main Kanto starter I think would benefit from a new mega is Blastoise.

That would be fine for me. Venusaur has a bulky Mega (which is good) but a Mega Venusaur-Z could be fast which would be interesting to see and as I mentioned a new Mega Blastiose-Z could be very useful as the current mega Blastoise is ok but could probably be better (especially if it got a good secondary typing).

nah they probably wouldn't do that only because they didn't firstly when mega charzard got two seperate megas.
While yes, all three starters got megas, only Charizard got two megas. So... I don't know.
