What time do you think this game will take place in. Like g/s/c took place 3 years after r/b/y. Do you think the same time as r/s? I think more in the future because of the PC in. the pokemon center

Same time period. Othwise there would be a time capsule, which would really suck.

It will probably in the future, but not by much, because this game is coming out 2 years after the last game. But I hope they don't have time capsules again.

it seems like it will probably be taken place more in2 the future. if u saw the pics, it looks like really advanced technology. from the pc to the legendaries, to the 3 florred pokemon centers etc...

My guess would be that this takes place about 3-5 years after Ruby and Sapphire...Although, technically, FR/LG would have taken place at the same time... Right? Because Celio talks about linking up with Lannette...So...
My guess is that the timeline is like this:
FR/LG and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald take place at the same time, but Diamond/Pearl and Gold/Silver/Crystal take place three or so years after that.
Oh...does this mean we'll be seeing Gold and Silver remakes soon? Hm...

I think Pokemon is some time in the future, but the games are all the same times. You can't say that Red and Fire Red are separate times, Fire Red is just more updated. But D/P is further ahed... why? The DS is cooler that the GBA.
