It's just a guess considering Serebii has found every other Mega Stone except the Tyranitarite and the Aggronite. I can't be sure but it makes sense, or at least it does for me.
Serebii has not found all of the Mega Stones. Plus, if the Tyranitarite and Aggronite were going to be distributed through events, then that fact would have been mentioned in Corocoro. However, the only event that Corocoro referred to was the upcoming Garchomp distribution.

I really love the design of Mega Aggron and Mega Banette. Always been an Aggron fan and was thinking about using a banette anyway. ^^

I had a team planned out, but no, Banette just had to come along and ruin everything by being so awesome with its megavolution and demanding a spot on my team.
Now I'll have to plan my entire team out again. Sob. Maybe I'll just wait until I get the games and let my Pokemon selection happen naturally, instead of trying to plan everything in advance.

I think you can't :/ but you can get multiple Blastoisite, Venusaurite, and Charizardite I think.
ahh that really sucks, I wonder why they would do that? Trying to force people to buy both X and Y?
More than likely, their reasoning was that it would promote trading and interaction between players, which has been the whole point of the version-exclusive features since day one.

Me neither. It looks really cool though, one of the better Mega Evolution designs, although all of the Mega Evos are amazingly designed.

Because they want Money, every company acts like they love their fans and care for them, but none of them care about their money at all they just want it. SO that is why they made PokeBank 5$ a month (At least they were Considerate enough for a 30 day trial.) So therefore they try to get you to get X and Y. Or you can just trade Charizardite X for Y since you can just buy another one.

While we're all waiting for the Mega Jynx evolution (which I hope even exists! O.O), what do you guys think she'll look like?
Will she still retain her bulky shape? Or will she slim down? It's kind of hard to tell because some of the mega evolutions are really elaborate and others have been somewhat more simple.
For example, the Kanto starters' mega evolutions look pretty similar to their original forms. Whereas Heracross and Medicham look a lot more different.
I think Jynx will keep her plus-size shape (or as Tya Banks would say: fiercely real!)
I can see them going on a viking princess kind of style considering Jynx is ice type and already looks like those viking opera singers.
Here's some evolutions made by fans. The first five are "plus-size", and the rest are slimmed down.

I don't know what your definition of 'amazingly designed' is. If you're saying that they look more menacing, bigger, rougher and grouchier, that's just a different design, but not what I would called great. Most of the mega evolutions are more of an alternative art style, a forme if I may say so, rather than a representation of growth and/or transition to the next stage of a life cycle, especially since many of them are already at the final stage.
Other than minor features here and there which I thought should have been implemented on the original Pokemon anyway, such as tyranitar having a crimson red belly instead of pale blue, overall I just find many of the designs messy and lacking a conceptual direction compared to the permanent evolutons.
Thus far, he only mega evolutions that actually look like an evolution (and I like) is mega-banette, which displays the leakage of contents from its body, and is visually more closely related to banette than banette is to shuppet. And mega-mawile.
It's time like this when I wish pokemon design can be as easily retconned as battle mechanics, so that there's always opportunities for changes in the future.

EDIT: I heard on 4chan that you can only have one mega on your team at one time? Does that honestly mean when I want to use Mega Scizor I can't have Mega Charizard X on my team as well?
Or, does it simply mean I can only use one mega stone per battle?
