My first event was Shaymin. (Back in 2009)
I lost the cartridge I traded Shaymin to, which is a shame, since I would still have it if I'd have kept it in Diamond.

Anyway, my only event pokémon would be Celebi, Zorua, and Victini.

With the exception of some legendaries, I think I've only lost once, when most of my team was hurt, early in Black. The Pokemon kept spamming Sand-Attacks, so I couldn't fight back, and the game didn't let me escape.

Surely it is theories like this which will always give pokemon an almost endless amount of stories to keep producing anime and games..

Hm, this theory actually makes sense. Ditto is kind of just like a shapeless Mew. That would be really cool planning on GameFreak's part if they had actually planned this.

We're all looking to far into this. In the old days of pokemon, the game liked to give little hints of a legendary pokemon's existence. You could see Articuno through a telescope, and there was an E-mail on a computer bringing up Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

The hint for mew was just the journal entries and ditto. Nothing more.

I also feel that the teams for important characters, gym leaders and E4 members, lacked variety.

I mean, couldn't they have replaced Drayden/Iris's Fraxure with a Zweilous?

I can't rule it out for sure, as it's possible over a span of more than a decade, but to my knowledge, I can't point out any one time.

Funny, when I lose a match, my game says"Black blacked out!"
